Stephanie Conti, MS, LPC

Stephanie Conti is a gifted clinician with a passion for supporting and guiding clients through life transitions and helping them to recover from traumatic experiences. Stephanie is a Licensed Professional Counselor who holds a Bachelor’s Degree in the field of Psychology from Rutger’s University and a Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Monmouth University. She specializes in adolescent to adult populations experiencing trauma, betrayal, family problems, parenting difficulties, low self-confidence, relationship issues, and difficult life transitions. Stephanie specializes in the utilization of research-based interventions such as Internal Family Systems (IFS), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to help her clients gain a deeper understanding of themselves and a better ability to cope effectively. Stephanie believes that the therapeutic relationship is a crucial part of the healing process. She creates a non-judgmental space for her clients to feel safe, validated and understood. Together with her clients, Stephanie openly explores thoughts, feelings, behaviors and internal parts that keep people stuck. She provides her clients the tools to learn how to cope, with a deeper understanding, awareness and acceptance of themselves and their circumstances. This ultimately creates a shift in mindset, the ability to set boundaries, break patterns, and make meaning of life’s transitions and traumatic experiences. Stephanie empowers self-care practices and personal growth on all levels, and she strongly believes we all have the ability to live life fully and authentically.
