Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive intakes and deliver individual psychotherapy to adults.
  • Offer treatment for conditions like PTSD, perinatal mood and anxiety disorders, depression, autism spectrum disorders, and more.
  • Extend psychotherapy services to teens and children, based on relevant experience.
  • Ensure timely completion of progress notes and other essential documentation.
  • Actively participate in group consultation meetings.

Qualifications:

  • A Master’s degree or higher in psychology, social work, or counseling (PhD, PsyD, LCSW, LPC).
  • A valid New Jersey state license to practice as an independent psychotherapist.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal aptitude.
  • Availability for at least 15 hours weekly.
  • No current employment in another private practice.
  • Prior experience with evidence-based trauma treatments such as EMDR or Cognitive Processing Therapy is a plus.
